Dr. Radhakrishnan earned his Bachelors of Science in Philosophy from The University of Chicago and earned his veterinary degree from the University of Georgia. After graduating from vet school, Dr. Radhakrishnan completed an internship and residency through the University of Georgia which lead him to become a board-certified internist in small animal veterinary medicine. His clinical interests include minimally invasive procedures, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and interventional radiology including stent placement. In his free time, Dr. Radhakrishnan enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing guitar, and playing soccer. He owns many animals, including 4 small breed dogs ChaCha, Puppy, Dazey, and Skippy, a rabbit, Mia, a hedgehog, Magic, 5 rabbits, and a hamster.

Erica Ossi, DVM, CVA
Veterinary Acupuncturist and Hyperbaric Technologist
Dr. Ossi earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Textile Chemistry from North Carolina State University. She initially worked for GlaxoSmithKline (GLK) as an analytical chemist for 2 years before pursing her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University. She completed a 1-year internship at Ocala Equine Hospital and began her veterinary career on the racetrack, working at Delaware Park Racetrack and later, Churchill Downs for over 7 years.
Dr. Ossi later earned her Acupuncture Certification and as she made the move into small animal medicine, her clinical interests blossomed into rehabilitation, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, acupuncture, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and pain management.
She has since earned her Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Certification and is finishing up her Canine Rehab Practitioner Certification. In her free time, Dr. Ossi enjoys spending time with her animals, completing home improvement projects, and listening to live music. She is a mother to 2 off-track Thoroughbreds, 3 Kunekune pigs, 4 mixed breed dogs, and 3 cats.

Jason Clark, DVM

Dr. Clark earned his undergraduate degree from Birmingham Southern College and attended veterinary school at Auburn University. He completed an internship with Alabama Veterinary Specialists in 2007 and performed his residency through Eye Care for Animals in 2010 before becoming a board-certified ophthalmologist. His clinical interests include corneal diseases.
Heidi Goggin, DVM
Dr. Goggin earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she worked in general practice in Portland, Oregon before discovering a passion for emergency medicine. Seeking a bigger challenge, she moved here to Lexington, Kentucky in 2017 and has been working for BVS ever since. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, and riding her horse. Dr. Goggin and her husband Sean have two pets they love dearly, a terrier-mix named Chloe and a cat named Belle. Dr. Goggin also owns an off-track-thoroughbred and ex-polo pony Twig.
Dr. Waldron earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and was an Honors Scholar in Equine Science from Colorado State University. She went on to earn her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. After graduation, Dr. Waldron completed an internship in Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery. Her clinical interests include emergency medicine and surgery, and small mammal exotics. Outside of work, Dr. Goggin enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband, Jeff, and dog, Paisley. Paisley is a 7-year-old Jack Russell.
Dr. Perez earned his undergraduate degree in Animal Science Pre-Veterinary Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus. After earning his Bachelors Degree, Dr. Perez attended St. George’s University at Grenada, West Indies where he became a doctor of veterinary medicine. He practiced small animal general medicine for a few years in Florida before relocating to Lexington, Kentucky where he held a 1-year rotating internship at Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency before joining our team full-time. Dr. Perez's clinical interests include internal medicine, ER medicine, and general practice. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, water sports, and playing/watching sports. He owns 1 mixed breed dog named Bucky with his girlfriend, Gabby.
Dr. Dring earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Miami and later went on to earn her doctorate of veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University. She completed a small animal rotating internship with The Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, New York before she came to Lexington, Kentucky to begin working for BVS+AE. Dr. Dring's clinical interests include critical care, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and exotic animal medicine. When she's not at work, Dr. Dring enjoys skiing, canoeing, hiking, cooking, knitting, and reading. Her and her fiancé, Ben, own 2 dogs together - Bonnie, a 6-year-old West Highland Terrier, and Birdy, an 8-year-old English Pointer.
Carley Suarez, DVM
Dr. Suarez earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of North Florida and immediately after, attended the University of Florida where she earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine. Upon graduating with her veterinary degree, Dr. Suarez completed a 1-year internship at Green Meadows Dairy Farm at Michigan State University before beginning to work in a mixed animal practice in Kentucky. Not too long after, Dr. Suarez joined our team as an emergency doctor. Her clinical interests include small animal surgery, client communication/quality improvement, preventative medicine and epidemiology, food animal medicine and surgery, antibiotic stewardship, and employee training and protocol management with a focus on Spanish speaking employees. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding, reading, cooking, eating, and gaining proficiency in the Spanish language. She is an owner to Homer, a 7-year-old mixed breed dog, and Marge, a 3-year-old German Shepherd.

Scott Ryan, BVMS
Dr. Ryan attended Colorado State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology and his Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences. Following the conclusion of his Masters, he attended the University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK where he earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS). He is currently working through a rotating 1-year internship with BVS+AE. His clinical interests include medical case management including diabetes, bushings, and IBD. In his spare time, Dr. Ryan enjoys cooking, watching movies, playing board games, and competing in local trivia. He currently does not own any pets.
