Open 24 hours a day to meet your Veterinary Emergency Needs

If you are concerned that your pet is having a medical emergency, do NOT contact us via email. Please call our hospital at 859-268-7604 or simply come to 1591 Winchester Road, Suite 106.

Emergency services are available for all small animals in need of medical attention without a referral. Patients will be treated with the intent for follow up to be done by the primary veterinarian the next business day. A transfer to internal medicine or surgery can be done with approval and referral by your primary veterinarian.

Pet emergencies can occur at any time — on weekends, holidays and in the middle of the night. When they do, bring your pet into Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency for on-the-spot emergency care that’s available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

We’re experts at providing round-the-clock care at some of the most critical moments in your pet’s life — when every second matters, and your pet needs the care of experienced emergency veterinarians who are ready for any situation.
