Dr. Jon Blakely, DVM, DACVS-SA
Dr. Jonathan Blakely, DVM, DACVS-SA,is a board-certified veterinary surgeon devoted to enhancing animal health through surgical precision. A proud Texas A&M University graduate, he earned his undergraduate and veterinary degrees in College Station before advancing his expertise through an internship at South Texas Veterinary Specialists, a surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center, and a surgical residency at Mississippi State University. In 2021, he achieved board certification with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Blakely has a particular interest in orthopedics, where he excels in addressing complex fractures and musculoskeletal issues to restore pets' mobility and quality of life. His expertise extends equally to soft tissue surgery, including abdominal, thoracic, and cancer-related procedures. Dr. Blakely is dedicated to improving the comfort and health of his patients and strengthening the pet-owner bond.
